Las Vegas has become a "world class" golfing city! Course designers here include names
like Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Pete Dye Designs, PGA Tour Designs and
a host of other PGA Players such as Ray Floyd, Chi Chi Rodriques, Billy Casper, Greg Nash,
Fuzzy Zoeller, and Johnny Miller.
There are 54 golf courses within the Las Vegas Valley area: 26 public, resort & semi-private
courses, 13 private courses, 3 par 3 courses, and 2 specialty driving ranges , with twelve
courses within 1 hour or less drive. Additionally, there are 9 other courses that we play less
than two hours drive. There are 26 courses under construction or in the planning stages.
Las Vegas green fees range from $17 to $1,000 (that's not a typo!).
Our weather, for the most part, allows golfing to be enjoyed all year round. With an average
of 320+ days of sunshine, rainfall of less than 4"/year, averaging 14 days or less of freezing
temperature (and rarely - rarely any snow), you probably will be able to play - whenever you
are planning to visit.
Most of the course photos and illustrations (except maps) are in thumbnail format. They can
be seen in full size by clicking on the image. With somewhere around 75 assorted photos of
the courses, etc. (and increasing), thumbnails were necessary to shorten the download time.
Within the following pages, there's over 200 photos (& increasing) that include the courses,
layouts, score cards and maps. It is Jerry's goal to have the score card, layout photo, and at
